a series of close-ups taken of rusted farm equipment on a ranch in central texas. i have three sets in the series: black and white, color, and a completely manipulated set called "chroma."

some of the picture in this series of work was created for a performance of "Ruthless, the Musical" (Book and Lyrics by Joel Paley, Music by Marvin Laird) at the Flower Mound Performing Arts Theater on display in the lobby throughout the run of the show (October 8 – 18, 2009).
'visum directum'
photographs of models enhanced and manipulated in a way to emphasize specific elements of the picture to produce a simplified rendition of the subject hence "visum directum," literally "direct (or simple) vision."
